A box of chinotto (drink). Eight bottles/cans, four types of chinotto with two of each, excluding San Pellegrino. Sounds unusual, but I'm becoming satisfied with this. Then again, I like chinotto.
I got all excited about turkish delight, a.k.a. lokum, a couple of years ago. I tried it again, and it was not how I remembered it. Recalibrating. The Usas box of lokum at your local middle east store could be a gift, an alternative to the box of chocolates. Mixed, or maybe the fruit is better.
I remain impressed by Fry's Turkish Delight, with its outer layer of chocolate. Some beets in there. That
small one isn't built to be a wrapped present.
Mixed nuts and a nutcracker. This is about tradition, although there are other good reasons for it.
Speaking of tradition, put one orange in a stocking.
Maple fudge from Quebec. Mm.
Organo coffee. Made with a mushroom. It has a softer taste than regular instant coffee. Superior to regular
instant coffee. But the distribution of this product is weird.
Serbat wangi. An elusive hot drink from Indonesia. Points for originality.
I had this several years ago, and liked it, as did others. This could be served at a dinner party where people want
a hot drink, but not the usual suspects. It doesn't hurt that people can laugh at the name.
"INTRA Serbat Wangi is a unique beverage that use a blend of natural spices made from ginger, chili, pepper, cloves, cinnamon, cane and palm sugar."
